the solution from AMADA provider was that we buy a PCL server as a center server and purchase PCL software from them, this S/C solution offer good network connection but the cost was about xx0,000 RMB, too expensive.

what we can bought for this expense is only a PCL software from amada. not worth that from the plant point of view. and we have doubt about the stability of the PCL Server system because it is not widely used and designed by amada, i am not doubt the punching machine quality, frankly speaking amada produce the international first class punching machine, but do they also produce a seldom used software in good quality too?

finally we decide to make some backup script to run some Transact-SQL command in order backup the database on client computer every day. we did some test and it seems work fine.

all AP100 programming computer database are backing up to the tape every evening so that we could ensure the restoration of every client ap100 to be completed in 3 hours, which improve data stability and productivity too.
